Jan. 5 through Jan. 13, 2012: Engram tours the North Without Laptop or Many Clothes. Unfortunately I didn’t take many photos of Fairfield or Caitlin’s 21st, but these seven photos are kind of representative of the whole, spectacular affair: Fairfield metro, Columbia’s newspaper, a statue in Providence taken from my seat on the Greyhound, the beach view from Hingham, reprised from Boston, Cindy’s cats snuggling through and despite that awesome blanket, and, finally, ‘The Morning After,’ or, ‘How I Learned To Karaoke With Karyn.’
I had an unbelievably positive time. It was a pleasure meeting super—err, ‘wicked’—cool people from Fairfield and Hingham, and more or less popping around on public transportation and reading books between all the time I had with my friends. I’m sad to be home and packing for Spring but life goes on, and one could do worse than have this kind of week as a big kick-off to 2012. I know great people.
